Starting at age 2, when you wake up your room is decorated and your breakfast consists of your "morning cake" with is a pancake with whipped cream and sprinkles and candles on top. We start your day out right with "cake" and singing you happy birthday!
The past two birthdays have also consisted of the birthday girl receiving her presents from mom and dad at breakfast.
After breakfast, the birthday girl played with her presents, got ready for the day, and we went and got McDonalds chicken nuggets and took them to the park to have a picnic.
After our picnic, the kids took a nap and party preparations began. The hardest thing about having a 6pm party when you are turning 3, is that 6pm is like forever away and it takes entirely too long to get here!
After dinner, O'ma and JoJo arrived with Evie's birthday cake that Auntie MaeMae had made out of strawberry cake and fondent frosting. O'ma had found a little Dora "artist" topper and then found these awesome pens that were made with food coloring that allowed the birthday girl to decorate her own cake! She was estatic and LOVED being able to participate in that way!
The rest of these photos are photos from the night, we had a very special time with our 3 year old girl. And you've never seen a little girl more estatic- honestly. She was so thankful and loved every single one of her presents, it was hilarious and heart warming to watch her open them all!
